Hammer Head Recap

We had a great showing this year at the HammerHead Invitational. Almost all our wrestlers ended with a winning record. Last yea only one wrestler made it to the second day and we placed 24th with about 45 points. This year eight wrestlers made it to the second day and placed 22nd with 98 points. Victor Toledo took 5th with a record of 7-2. Several guys wrestling up weight classes; Nelson, Edwards, Miles and Wolfe with great contributions. Thank to all of our parents that made it out to support our team.

Patriot Dome

We had an outstanding performance this weekend. Eight placers: 126- Toledo 3rd, Olson 5th, 132- Bloom 1st, 138- Foster 2nd, 145- Edwards 5th, 170- Wolfe 2nd, 182- Kalac 3rd, 285- Ready 2nd. Our team was at times in 3rd place. Everyone wrestled great. We made a good impression on a lot of teams and the officiating staff. Great start . . . . but just the start!

Getting ready for 2012-13

Hope everyone is getting ready for next year. Eleven wrestlers participated in the Sumner Camp, and a few more attended the Camp in Orting hosted by many wrestling Allstars. We have a few additions to our inventory for next year including; three scales, 20 sets of new head gear w/ chin straps, Kennedy Skin Shield and a portable score clock for our mat room. In a few weeks we're taking a small leadership group on a training retreat. Get ready to work hard next year. If your not in shape for the first day of practice . . . . be in shape the first day of practice. Its going to be an exciting season!
